Assistant Teacher
J Carter Centre for Public Speaking is looking for energetic and enthusiastic Assistant Teachers to join our centre. We offer learning opportunities that will help you develop your knowledge and skills in the area of communication skills and more. Job Role & Responsibilities
- Assist Class Teacher in classroom activities
- Prepare resources for classes
- Work together with the Class Teacher in classroom management and create a supportive learning environment for the students
- Ensure classrooms are safe and conducive to learning
- Attend in-house and on-the-job training for various programmes
Requirements
- Relevant diplomas or degrees from LASALLE, NAFA, NUS, Singapore Polytechnic or acredited Universities and Colleges are preferred
- Any other professional teaching qualifications in Drama, Performance, Theatre, English, Communication Skills and Early Childhood Education will be considered
- A’ levels/ Poly Diploma/IB Diploma with exposure to public speaking, debate, and drama will be considered
- Enjoy working with children between the ages of 7 years to 12 years will be an advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Willing to learn and grow
- Energetic, passionate, responsible, and a good team player
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Those with relevant teaching experience may be considered for senior teaching positions
