In view of the change in the DORSCON level from Yellow to Orange, J Carter Centre has further enhanced current provisions to protect students and staff at our centre. The new measures are in line with MOE recommendations for private centres. We have implemented the following procedures with immediate effect:
Parents are advised to drop off and pick up their children before and after classes at the entrance.
Parents and visitors who wish to enter the centre will have to make a travel declaration with contact details before they can enter the centre. (We reserved the right to turn away any persons who may pose a health risk.)
Students, parents, visitors and staff will have to undergo temperature checks and wash their hands following the 7 steps method.
Students who are showing signs of being unwell will not be allowed to attend classes. Make-up sessions will be arranged at a later date.
The above measures are in addition to measures already put in place earlier, including issuing of leave of absence for those returning from China or have family members returning from China within the last 14 days. Please do not send your children for lessons if they are unwell. Just inform us via phone or email and we will take note of it. Make-up sessions will be arranged at a later date.
We also want to assure all parents that the center’s premises, equipment, and materials are cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis. The health and safety of our students and staff are our top priority.
We would like to seek the cooperation and understanding of the parents and visitors during this moment of crisis and we are sincerely apologetic for the inconvenience caused as a result of implementing the above measures.
If you would like to communicate with the centre on any matters, you can contact us at 67372700 or email us at info@jcartercentre.com
Yours sincerely,
Jackeline Carter (Director)
