Join Our Dynamic Speaking Workshops Today!

Join us for an enriching journey into the world of speaking in public. Tailored for students of all ages, our short courses offer a comprehensive platform to cultivate essential communication skills techniques while building confidence in performing in front of an audience.

During our workshops, we prioritise the belief that learning is most effective when it is enjoyable and engaging. Through a blend of interactive activities, and purposeful exercises, students are immersed in an enriching experience where they not only learn the intricacies of effective communication but also have a thoroughly enjoyable time doing so.

Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, students are expertly coached in a variety of speaking techniques, including crafting captivating speeches, reciting poetry with flair, engaging in impromptu speaking, weaving compelling stories, reporting news with clarity, and delivering dramatic monologues. They learn to master the nuances of body language and harness the full power of their voice to connect with their audience effectively. Each session is meticulously structured to ensure that students not only grasp fundamental concepts but also develop practical skills that they can apply confidently when performing in front of a live audience.

Upon completing the workshop, students have a golden opportunity to earn an internationally recognised certification by participating in SPAF 2025. They will showcase their talent before an esteemed adjudicator and a live audience, armed with the skills they’ve honed during the workshops. This is their chance to dazzle and be assessed on their performance, with the possibility of earning a coveted Gold Star, Gold, Sliver, Bronze Award or a certificate of participation! As a proud sponsor of the Singapore Performing Arts Festival, we lead the way in participant numbers year after year. In 2024, we celebrated an incredible 105 participants showcasing their skills in various speaking categories, both live and online. The results were nothing short of spectacular, with our talented students earning an impressive haul of awards: 6 Gold Star, 34 Gold, 48 Silver, and 19 Bronze!

For students who are keen to participate in SPAF but are unable to attend the actual festival, they can opt to submit a video entry. More information for this option will be shared at a later date if students wish to participate using this option.

As parents, you want to equip your children with valuable skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. One such skill is impromptu speaking, an essential ability that can significantly enhance your child’s communication and critical thinking skills.

Impromptu speaking involves delivering a speech or presentation with little to no preparation. Participants are often given a topic or an object on the spot and must quickly organise their thoughts and articulate their ideas clearly and coherently. This skill is commonly practiced in various settings, including debates, public speaking competitions, and classroom discussions.

Prepares for Real-Life Situations: Whether in interviews, social gatherings, or unexpected presentations, the ability to speak confidently and articulately without preparation is a skill that will always come in handy.

Boosts Confidence: Learning to speak spontaneously helps children build self-confidence. The more they practice, the more comfortable they become in expressing their thoughts in front of an audience.

Enhances Critical Thinking: Impromptu speaking helps students think quickly and put their ideas together clearly on the spot. This builds critical thinking skills that are important not just in school, but in many other areas of life as well.

Improves Communication Skills: Students learn to convey their ideas clearly and persuasively, which is crucial for effective communication in all areas of life.

Encourages Creativity: Impromptu speaking encourages students to think creatively and approach topics from different angles, allowing them to express themselves uniquely.

Enrolling your child in an impromptu speaking program can provide them with lifelong skills that extend beyond the classroom. They will not only learn to think on their feet but also become more articulate, confident communicators. Don’t miss this opportunity to help your child thrive! Register them today and watch them flourish in their speaking abilities!

As parents, you want to provide your children with skills that will inspire creativity, boost confidence, and enhance communication abilities. One valuable skill that encompasses all these qualities is storytelling.

Storytelling is the art of sharing stories in an engaging and expressive way. It involves not just the words being spoken, but also the emotions, gestures, and voice modulation that bring a story to life. Storytelling can be used in various settings, from sharing tales with friends and family to performing in front of an audience.

Boosts Creativity: Storytelling encourages children to use their imagination. They learn to create characters, build plots, and develop unique narratives, which fosters their creative thinking.

Improves Communication Skills: Through storytelling, children learn how to express their thoughts clearly and effectively. They practice using voice tone, body language, and facial expressions to connect with their audience.

Builds Confidence: Performing stories in front of others helps children gain confidence in their speaking abilities. The more they practice, the more comfortable they become sharing their ideas and stories.

Enhances Active Listening: Storytelling is a two-way process. Children not only learn to tell stories but also become better listeners. They learn to pay attention to others’ stories, which is an important social skill.

Develops Empathy: By telling and listening to stories, children can explore different perspectives and emotions. This helps them develop empathy and understand the feelings of others.

Registering your child for a storytelling program can open up a world of creativity and expression. They will not only learn to captivate an audience with their words but also gain valuable skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. Don’t miss the chance to nurture your child’s storytelling talent! Sign them up today and watch them grow as confident and imaginative storytellers!
